Just a quick line to say hello.. Already seen some great posts and videos
Abit about myself I do a bit of detecting (bit of a novice) but my love is underground hard rock mining I work with a mate who owns an underground mine @percydale and just love the thrill of chasing a new reef and watching it open up after each blast also going home and dollyin up a bit of ore and panning it out... Anyway I'm off to look at a few more videos cya

thanks for the warm welcome ... I will grab some pics on the weekend including the refurbished 5 head Castlemaine foundry stamp we should be mucking out after a blast last weekend so should be able to get some of the rail bogger in action too

Interesting stuff @pyrennees123, but a bugger of a username, welcome.
Percydale is an interesting area, had a quick look a couple of months back good to see the old puddlers still in reasonable condition, shame some of the signage and such has been wrecked.
Didn't know there was mine up there still being worked but didn't recon the area all that well (was just passing through on the way home from Warranmang).
