G'day fellow prospectors

I've been a keen amateur prospector since I moved to Eldorado in North East Victoria when I was twelve. Moved around a bit since, but 35 years later I'm now back in the area and living in Stanley, near Beechworth. Not much in the way of big nuggets here, but fine gold abounds if you put the work in. I enjoy both detecting and sluicing for alluvial gold and gems. I've read a few posts on the forum and I'm very impressed with the great information that you all share. There's certainly some very knowledgeable members.

Hey Mate, Your a lucky man living up there, Its a great place for that fine gold, There was just a posts of someone pulling a few decent pickers out of reedy so there is still some left. Goodluck and welcome. Balx

Welcome to the forum. Yes there are some very clever members on the site. You will also find them friendly and helpful.
You certainly live in the right area to continue your prospecting.
