Just posting up to say hi as a new member.
Ive been detecting , sluicing etc for about 18 years with very modest success and I was also a member of Sydney Electronic and fossicking club for several years. I have been reading posts and watching Wals vids for a while and thought it was about time I joined up. Since not being in the club these days ive missed learning new things and getting tips on places to go.... so hoping to pick up a few things here.
Thanks Gary.

Hi Gary and welcome mate, great bunch of people here and lots of knowledge.

Yep the best club by far.
Im glad i joined im advancing much quicker now than i would have by meself. Not finding more but not wasting time or money on things that arnt proven to work or last. Plus the updates and changes of laws, areas ect. Im less likley to fossick in areas that arnt permitted if i run them by people in this forum i had no idea about kilkievain private river title??

Welcome Gary, I'm new as well but have learned a lot and everyone is willing to share information, it's a great place.
Thanks mate .. I see you are from Black Springs , I often go out that way to fossick around Native Dog Creek . Might be able to help you out with some spots down that way down the track.

G'day Gary, welcome to us!!! I'm sure you will enjoy your time otherwise you wouldn't have joined up.
You have many fossickers in NSW so i'm sure you will have a ball.
Cheers. ;)

Welcome to the forum Garry. Sounds like you've had quite a bit of experience chasing the yellow, and I'm sure the forum will benefit from much of your input. Look forward to chatting amongst the threads and possibly catching up on the stream some day. Best of luck out there mate.

Cheers Wal.

Lol.. ill try see what useful input I can share , but even after many years of enjoying the hobby im still very much a rookie. Im a fitter by trade so I enjoy making and inventing my own equipment and hopefully share a few ideas and secrets while im here.
