I like burners and made a few so ill take a look. I tend to use oil i collect from fisho shops for smelting as its free

I like the way they show to make a cheap crucible. I wonder if i can get one in the large enough scale i need. ( a tipping furnace for pouring ) Great little chart there on alloys. I havnt had the chance to play much with that, but with that chart ive got something to go off, cool!

The problem with most of these burners is that the refractory cements tend to crack and this can be due to many factors. Making a furnace that enables you to easily replace the refractory cement and metal reinforcement you use will make a furnace run for a lifetime.
