Administrators, I hope this is ok.....please delete if its not.

For Sale:
1 Garrett ATX Metal Detector which includes:
1 Atx metal detector
1 Soft cover detector bag
1 coil cover
1 Garrett ATX Sling
1 battery charger
1 charger convertor
8 rechargeable batteries
4 battery carriers
1 atx instruction book

From the Documents you will see that the detector was purchased in Nov 2013. It arrived in January 2014 and was first used that day. It has superficial scratches but works fine. The coil cover has a small split in it but attaches to the coil fine and stays on no worries. I am selling the detector as I have no further use for it. Any questions you may have I'd be pleased to answer.

The cost is $1995 ONO. plus postage at buyers expense.

Hi HH, yeh Ive got a few sets of headphones. I'd like to keep the Garrett phones for my AT Pro but I've got other sets that could be plgged in with the Garrett extension that I have.

The extension has a 1/4" jack so any good set of phones will plug in.

Hi all, I've just checked the headphones I have and the Garrett ones don't work. They can be purchased from Garrett from $55 - $179. The headphones have 2 small connections inside the plug that look like they are glass and that's what breaks. [Poor design I think]

I think I've heard on here about "grey ghost" head phones or something like that, but any phones with a dual volume control that have a 1/4" jack will plug into the extension that will go with the detector.

Hope that helps.

Hey Daz, good package at a great price.

Mate I just took out that last pic with all the private details. Sorry, but I had to, forum rules.

Cheers

Ah, forgot about them..... it was only to show date of purchase. As it is, when I fired it up today it did some peculiar things so I'll have to check it out a bit further before I take any offer. It seems to stick on a maximum signal and the only way to stop the scream is to press the tune button.

I don't know whether it was because I was in the shed and it was picking up the steel and it was on maximum sensitivity but i'll get it checked out before I let anyone have it.

Administrators, could you please take down this thread. My ATX is not doing what it should and I will not try to sell it while its playing up. Thanks TD
