Someone posted about 2x weeks ago about finding a live round of ammo, and was curious to the right approach of disposal.

Well now, for those in Qld at least (and perhaps similar in other states), here is a mob who are licensed to buy it from you...

Might be useful to some at least...and unlike Police or LGS, you will have some $$ for your efforts... ;)

Old stuff that has not been buried or in the ground - Is always on a collectors list

And you still need to be careful as to your legal requirements to have ammo; that is why they will offer to collect....

Doubt some of the old 303's and 45's found in many places would grab their attention other than for disposal..

But, ya never know.

There only after the brass ....as its reusable....so you would need a few for it to be worthwhile for them to collect..... :Y:

Nah, if you have very old martini henri rounds or something rare it will be worth a few bucks, but only a few bucks, not enough to buy a big mack meal, (if you would want one) second hand brass isn't worth jack all either, unless you know and trust the source it's useless. Brass stretches with each firing and has a definite lifespan. Old brass in the ground is just a memento.
