I hope this thread will take off and generous PA members will get some acknowledgment for their selfless acts of kindness and maybe we will even use it as a bit of a character judge when favors are asked. I hope only the positives are posted. :)

The generosity of others has diffidently opened my heart to do favors for other generous PA members

Gcause, Silver,Aushunter have visited me and have given me some very helpful advise! And some great prospecting gifts.
I am alway greatful and in there debt so i constantly try to pay foward.... plus the great times with Money box, Wally69, Banksy,Ozjono,MJB. More good times to come.... :D

In order of meeting:

BeagleBoy: Very friendly and keen to meet and dig with a smile and laugh. Generously drove me down to a creek in his beaut car and we used his mckirk the first day, and then his walbanker the next meet. BeagleBoy was my first forum meetup and I will always honor him for giving me that chance for the start of prospecting friendships. I owe him a few digs :)

dylanpennack23: I've known for a short time but feels forever. He always offers a hand, a solution or a companion most eager to learn any form of fossicking, and for his age, his intellect and maturity is much greater. I certainly know if I were to fall down a shaft, his arm would be there to grab onto. No need for explination, he knows when help is needed and jumps to any job that he can help out with. Use of his fathers 4x4 has made the trips a lot more adventurous, today I took the wheel for the first time of it and had a ball. Compared to my BA its like a monster truck!

lilnugget: Offered a few lifts for some digging action and stopped my daughter from cracking her head open on bedrock with a swift gumboot shuffle. It may not have seemed much at the time, but I will never forget it. Always keen for digging and experience and certaintly has a ball baring blood and skin for color.

dirtyharry: A bloke with a heart literally made from gold. It flows through the veins, a detector would blank crazy! Offering me a trip out of the blue with very little knowledge of me and away we went and scored some gold. I don't remember much of the day where conversation ceased as we shared knowledge and spun lingo. His self confidence and clear driven direct paths inspired me with a lot of positive energy and a boost for life.

Sniffy: many pm's and emails we had been through discussing much and a meet up. A couple of days before we met, he offered me a detector, a great one at that, ( Eureka Gold ), with easy payments. Brought his sluice, barrow, basically all his gear which we used and ran through for the day. My first real 'gold' detector and all thanks to him. Not only this, but certainly keen and enjoyable to be around as company

These are only members who I haven't met through the forum and have made an impact in my life so far.. I'm sure as I spend more time and get to meet more this would go on forever in my books.

Forum members who I am either to meet or can't meet due to distance, I could write soo much for all this list. The information, the friendships, the phone calls, the rock samples sent to me, just a general hello and chit chat or even a pm of support, all members in my post have done a lot and made an impact on my life and it just keeps building. This is harder than it seems lol

In no specific order these members have gone out of thier way to spend the time to reply to my PMs. Most of which are not small pms either..
Jaros, WalnLiz, Ramjet, shivan, Hunting the Yellow, Tathradj, Golddigg@, kathy, Retirement Stone, Big Nugget, Goldtarget, gcause, loamer, Boyd William, joshua85, Carmo, Coyote, XIV, Nugget, dave14110, prospectorB, dwt, johnb, casper, Gravity, DiggerTom, ron, joe, golddiggerart, Sandta, Chris Barker, mavsta, TheSilentBugler, aussiefarmer, Heatho, yobskin, Ag Man, Prospector Pete, MJB, Swinging & Digging, scrubby creek, SA_bogan, RamblingRude, Twapster, mfdes, kawman, KingSoloman, SC75, Metamorphic, NeoGeo, numpty, Dr Duck, aushunter, y4k, GypsyGoldAU .. I think I'm missing a couple... omg I know I'm missing some

All members who have given me support through my personal ups and downs and everyone who I've known since I've joined.

Great topic :)

Personally, Ramjet, and Sandta. Both so helpful, and giving members. A ton of others that I appreciate for their forum posts. Guys who post finds threads, and those that answer questions for newbies. No better place to learn, and share our hobby.

I have said it before but will say it again, I have only met a few people in person from PA but I consider most here a friend whether or not I get the honour to meet them in person but hope I do, I would happily sit a have a beer by a fire somewhere in a gold field with each and all of you, and aussiefarmer I look forward to that coldie one day

Good thread aussiefarmer... as a newish member i have not found myself in need of help other than trying to buy some items, but to consider a thread recognizing those who have helped has my support and a big  :)

To all those listed......good on ya's for reaching out & contributing to the furtherance of the hobby...

I would like to give a shout out to the members of this community who would help out others or contribute more if they could.
But can't due to things like lack of knowledge or medical conditions preventing them from fully engaging with this awesome community, and so remain in the shadows.

I'm not going to name anyone.
But thank everyone cause it wouldn't be the same without the big and small contributions.

To be honest I'm not into playing favourites but I would like to thank all members who contribute to the forum in a positive way, we would not have a forum if there were no contributers. Well done on making this forum a great site.

Ditto :D

Firstly I would like to say Thank You to everyone who contributes or has contributed to PA since its inception. Its thanks to those who have come before us, that have created a friendly and non judgmental platform for most who visit PA and have paved the path for the rest of us to follow. I know its been said many times before.
This is the best Prospecting and Fossicking forum encompassing all states of Australia.

To the defenders of members. I salute you. Sticking up for the underdog is what set us aussies apart from the rest! It is apart of our short heritage (in world terms) and is something to be proud of!! May the spirit of mate ship and understanding extend to any and all who class themselves as Australian. Indigenous and non indigenous alike.

To the people who respond to post of every kind. Whether it be finds or other. I for one appreciate and enjoy reading your comments and replies after I post something and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Its not much fun when members don't respond. Even if its just a LIKE.

From Me... To the insightful ones who peruse and comment in a positive way. I thoroughly enjoy reading your posts and hopefully a little bit of your literacy genius rubs off on me and others who appreciate what you know and understand.
There is more than just the hunt for the Yella stuff going on here.

And as a side note, not relating to the thread topic...
for all those out there who are apprehensive about joining in on the discussions and posts here on PA.
I for one am still getting a feel for the place and people. Its only once you put yourself out there, as hard as it may be sometimes. That you can accurately gauge your full potential. Its impossible for anyone to get a complete knowing of your personality through a platform like this with emoticons replacing face to face discussions. You may doubt yourself before or after posting. At the end of the day this is only a virtual world. It doesn't change who you are and sometime you aren't going to get the response your after. Shrug it off and move on. I would think that you would have to have at least one member out there who has a similar sense of humor, personality or appreciates your contribution and is capable of getting an idea of who you are with the use of emoticons ;) :/ :8 :D
Just enjoy it for what it is :)

Cheers,NG :)

Despite being fairly new to all of this I'd like to say thanks to the PA community in general. You've all been a big help so far in helping me learn this new hobby, as well as giving me advice and plenty of good stories! :D I love seeing what you've all uncovered or hearing what you've encountered it makes me that much more excited to really get into this hobby :8
