Footy widows

Looks like a few more prospecting widows are going to have footy added to the board.

Been a while coming but I have to say I'm already reminded of
Flooding. How many blokes do you need in the back line?
Bad haircuts. 1 semi mullet already accounted for.
Terrible umpiring decisions. Deliberate! How can that be deliberate!? Pay the mark ump.
Coach antics. These blokes would make great signers for the deaf.

By the way I don't support either side on the telly tonight, but I love my footy. May it be a long season.

Got that right GT , been a long wait , and there would be more than a few double screening at the moment. Love my footy , nothing better than a day at the local country football , real grass roots stuff. One game quite a few years ago we had three lots of fathers and sons playing together in the same team , that sort of thing is priceless

Just watching the game to, before i head off for the gold tomorrow.

Isn't it amazing how professional footballers these days cant kick for goal from a set shot....old Dunstall and Lockett would never miss those!

Everyone crows on about contested possessions, stoppages, inside 50's, one-on-one's etc etc. A lot of importance placed on statistical jargon but if you cant kick goals, you ain't gonna win.

Back in my day, if your opponent was winning more ball than you, you took him out 'Teddy Whitten' style.

A statistician will tell you that if a man is standing bare-foot, with one foot on a bbq hot plate and the other on a block of ice, on average he should be comfortable!

Players have improved, umpiring hasn't....they struggle to bounce the ball in the middle on a perfect surface.

The old country umpires could bounce it in the mud.
