First token - Carwash

Hi Guys,

Was a nice surprise when this popped out of shallow grass while I was detecting a random roadside parking area in Cairns.
Google hasnt so far provided me much info on tokens in Australia. Was this a generic carwash token used around the world? Ive found it online and it says made in USA....although it has HM stamped on it.
Does anyone know roughly what years these types of tokens were phased out? Id love a rough age , rarity and value I guess - The journey it took to end up in this bit of roadside grass might be a bit much to ask!

Pretty sure it is a modern token with an old design.Generic token still used today.

Yep there still in use ,ive got couple in the ute, they have them on site for money so there only one spot for the money to be held
