Well it nothing to brag about but today was my first time out detecting at a small park near the local wineries I know its only trash but it was a great training time and I had a good time Well it just means it can only get better

It's all learning the machine.

Remember to hit the same spot after you've become tuned in to your machine.
It'll be interesting what you find from the same spot in future.
 
Those crown caps do sound good at times, hopefully you will starting picking up on some coins once you come to grips with your detector. What detector are you swinging? :)
 
Not much different from my first run except I got more junk a 10 & a 20c piece canslaw but couldn't find any screws or nails, I was disgraced at my junk pile
took me an hour and a half to two to find the 2 coins :lol:
 
Well done on getting out for the first hunt mate :) Use the internet or library to find some old local popular spots where crowds used to gather :) Never know what's around the house at home either and easy practice :cool:
