Gday Everyone Im new to prospecting I got interested in it watching the TV shows here and overseas ones. Living in the Southern Highlands of NSW Im not far from OlAllan & Tuenea. I brought a sluice at the beginning of the year so my father & I could go for a dig and spend time together playing in the dirt. I have been reading a lot on metal detecting whether its for treasure, gold or trash makes no difference to me,I think this would be a good for my Dad as he is not a young fellow, it looks like a great hobby to get into and I think Ill give it a go with dad as well. This is such a fantastic forum full of knowledge and people that tell their experiences about equipment, sites, as well as helping out newbies like myself. Thanks guys look forward to many adventures.
