First penny

Hi all, found my first penny today and another trinket , very ordinary condition I have not attempt to clean it yet 1923 penny. ( sorry about the poor photos )

Thanks all for the comments. The penny was about 3 inch's down and the hat/shoulder pin was about the same. All found at a local park, which is also a very old tip from my research .I'm using a x Terra 705.

Bugger the penny mate, I like the shoulder bar. That I would clean and polish and put on display.

Can't help it, I'm an old digger and those things get me where you feel it.

Yeah I agree. Over 4 years detecting and I still don't have a shoulder bar. Nice find.
