First coin at the beach with the sdc

Tried the sdc for the first time at the beach and was thrilled to find 2 pre-decimal coins within 2 hrs. First one was a 19?0 King George V penny (1911-1936). Had to wait until I got home to ascertain whether it was a 2 or 3 with a magnifying glass. Now 80% sure it's a 2
Second coin was I three pence which I unfortunately broke whilst retrieving.

Am now wondering if you guys and girls think it's worthwhile gridding that beach and have a more thorough search ???
