finding interesting items

Hi all,just joined today and cant wait to get into detecting.Havent bought a detector yet and would like some feed back as im a newby.i live on the northern side of brisbane and am willing to travel..even over night camping.Times are not a problem as im free just about anytime,i own a ute so can pack it with all the tools we will need.Look forward to some advice on type of detector etc etc....regards Bomber_oz...(Rob)

Welcome to the forum Rob. Looks like the enthusiasm is already at fever pitch so once you get that detector there will be no way of turning back. Check out the detecting threads on the forum and they should give you a good "General " run down on most machines on the market today.

If there's any questions or opinions you may seek, just throw them at the members and i'm sure some clarity will come to light.
