i just had the greatest feeling reuniting someone with a lost ring.
a guy came and asked me if i had a detector (some one told him i did ) and could i maybe go out to his farm and try and find a ring his wife lost in a truck load of cane mulch . the ring was her deceased mothers wedding ring . anyway i drove out there and looked at the imposing pile of stuff to detect through i went around the edges first and after only maybe 10 minutes bingo a loud and clear 16 rang up on my terra 705 using the 10" DD coil so out with the pin pointer and scored . the farmer was about 20 foot away from me and i called him over and said hold out your hand and dropped the ring into it .well to say his face lit up would be an understatement and i drove away feeling every bit as happy as he did just knowing how much it meant to them . he was grinning from ear to ear when i left and he was shouting right now , not sure what that meant though .
