Extracting gold from river.

Ok Guys. how do I extract gold from a river that is running over granite boulders? Has no defined "Bed"
It is a sandy river. there would be gold down in there. But how can I get to it?

I will try get one. at the moment it is not running to fast. how wide? varied. how deep the same. from a few inches to a few meters.

any cracks in the rocks in the bed of the river ? like crevices ?
