Hi there,
Last time I went detecting for gold I was based in Bathurst, NSW and was using a 1995 model of Minelab in and around Ophir. A lot of water has passed under the bridge since then and I/we find ourselves working some 170k north west of Newman, WA and approx 35k /from Jigalong Aboriginal Community (refer to the movie "Rabbit Proof Fence).
I was given a Garrett 400i for Christmas and am now wondering how the hell Im going to fit that in my Hilux/camper trailer combination when we decide to leave this cattle station. Maybe Ill wear the machine out before then.
Looking forward to reading many informative and encouraging posts. Now to learn where gold may be found in this area
