hello fellow prospectors and forum readers,
im dwt from central victoria and nothing sends the blood south like the mighty Au.
I have been prospecting for 4-5 years now starting off with a trusty gp 3000 and have now graduated to the gpx 5000,i also (heavily) dabble in washing crushing puddling dirt to try and locate as much Au as possible,to elaborate on this after finishing air leg mining i decided to put my mind and OUR (the wifie) hard earned dollars to work and start design manufacture of gold recovery equipment these include various trommels from slightly portable to trailer mounted, clay & gravel styles, portable wash plants, shaker tables, puddling tubs.I have just finshed rebuilding a jaw cusher/disintegrator man does this baby hump conveyor fed she will smash 1tonne per hour of conglomerite and beats it down to icing suger equivalent (pity bout the small nuggets) but hey golds gold,WHEN i work out how to use this crazy computer thing i will post some pics and gladly help out anyone who has questions (best i can) about some of the gear im building. FUTHERMORE i would like to add that i have no relationship with any other previous "dwt"..........

ps please do not ask if any of the equipment i manufacture is for sale,as most of it is still in the prototype stage when i have something for sale i will post it on the appropiate site..............

cheers................"dwt" :)

welcome mate
you've landed on a good forum here
look forward to seeing some of your creations when you get a handle on the computer thingy :D
regards tm

Welcome to the forum dwt. Been reading your other posts and noticed tm's comment about the name. Can't say it rings any bells with me,...but that may be because i haven't bothered with any other forums for some time now.

Be great to see some of your inventions, as they sound like works of art. Hope you get that 5000 sorted out mate.

Cheers Wal.

Welcome dwt, photos need to be less than 1024kb. I trim mine down to size, others save theirs in a smaller size and then attach them to messages using the photo icon on the message toolbar.

hi guys this one is part of my collection of "trommel" pics
this was devolped from using a dredge,we were dredging out a dam and with constant dredge head and hose blocking i came up with this idea, the black hose can be removed from the base of the wash plant and connected to a dredge head or if your out in the bush where dredging is not permitted you can simply dig and load, the angle iron grizzly flips out and it is fully surrounded by spray bars above and below, the top section is removable just above the black hose connections you can see either side. The purpopse of the 1"hose flowing back down the 4"sluice hose to assist with aggitation of materials and assist them traveling to the sluice box,the sluice box is fully adjustable if you pay particular attention to the front right side of the sluice you will note the pipe coming down on an angle, this was devoloped over 12months ago and i knew nothing of vrubber matting that goes under your carpet or moss. This wee bit of pipe is for the fine gold trap as the fine gold gets washed through the matt or moss it drops down bout 1", sloped and travels out the tube to a bucket or pan.It works quite well it dosnt like large shaley rock they tend to slip through the grizzly and jam in the cone but i usually pull them out when im loading,i have put through 5-600kg p/h, and runs of a 6.5 hp petrol fire fighting pump (water transfer pumps dont supply enough pressure) HAVE I FOUND GOLD yes this machine has captured gold and quite small too im currently digging an old creek(private property) we havnt located any pieces over pin head size and thats with regular sampling of the tailings... this unit is under copyrite.....
please dont hesitate to ask any questions the copyrite is for someone ripping off the idea and mass manufacturing.if your keen to build one for yourself by all means thats something we could look into.........
cheers.............dwt................... :)
