I have never needed to use this but it's something to consider carrying. It's double sided, plastic backed mirror. Allows for accurate sighted sun reflection. Holding it up towards the sun a small circle of sunlight is coming through which the reflection of which needs to be centred on hole in mirror. While it is centred the hole needs to be carefully manipulated to sight the signal receiver. It does take some practice.
