Diamond sintered bronze laps

Hi all, just a quick question on sintered bronze laps. New member so I hope this is the right part of the forum….

I have been offered a second hand 600# at an extremely good price. It cuts like a dream - fast and uniform scratches - but has an overuse groove from failing to sweep when cutting.
Does anyone have any tips on flattening these? It’s a bronze matrix so I imagine its possible…. I hope
