Gr8 day near Dunolly. 7 littlies, from one patch, total of 1.82g (pays for the fuel)..
8" Commander mono on the 5k. Gr8 coil for the littlies.
Heading back home stopped at one of my 'secrets' where I've done okay before.
Switched to the 14 X 7 elliptical mono and ran over the spot again and picked up a tiny, tiny blip. Dug half way to china for this fat
bugger at 78.83g. Nearly s#@t meself when that came out.
Must've moved 'nother half a ton o' dirt before exhaustion took over from elation (and adrenaline)
but no further joy. This'll do for the day. Had a few droughty weeks but this makes up for the
quarter ton of junk dug.

Thanks all.
Depth? 'Bout 600mm down, or a bit more, felt like a lot more and the ground like bloody concrete.
Lucky not to have touched it with the pick. And I still can't get rid of the silly grin :D

Top stuff, love it when you get an unknown whisper, then take 2 inches off and it gets louder,
another 2 inches and louder,
then dig until it screams.

Mrs Redfin and I are off to Dunolly again tomorrow until Sunday, can't wait.
