Detecting Creswick Vic

Hi all
I'm doing some research on where to go detecting in Creswick Vic. May be heading up there tomorrow. I've printed off some GeoVic maps which show 3 main public land areas.
I know we are allowed, with a miners right, to detect in State Parks, but are we allowed to detect in the Plantations, and are we allowed to detect in the Regional Parks around Creswick?
