I'll never understand how this has come to be.
Stepping over a fallen tree trunk watching where and on what I might step on I found this gardenia.
I was following a quartz reef. I was away from any tracks, campsite, previous activity or disturbance, completely in natural bush, or so I thought...
It is a delicate potters ceramic flower.
Nothing else visible anywhere nearby.
