The new Dawn of the Planet of the Apes movie is out now. There is a prequel book (ebook) that covers the period between the Rise of the Planet of the Apes and the new movie. It is called 'Firestorm', by Greg Keyes. It explains what happened after the battle of the Golden Gate Bridge (end of Rise) to the start of the new movie - also describes the virus and its spread better as well. Apart from some spelling errors, it's a great read and sponsored/supported by the film maker. So, get out your old Planet of the Apes movies, the TV series and old comics, then watch all the new Planet of the apes movies, read this book, then go and see Dawn.
