Hi, wife and I have just returned from 6 week caravanning trip around SW Western Australia . I noticed what appeared to be alluvial diggings beside the road on the outskirts of Norseman . Was I looking at road work or in fact diggings ? I Was unaware of alluvial workings around Norseman. Should have stopped and looked but was very focused on a swim in Esperance , it was 44 deg c as we came into Norseman.
Cheers Crushed

The Norseman Gold Project is Australia's longest continuously operating gold mining undertaking as it has been producing gold at the site for more that 70 years. During this time it has produced more than 5.5 million ounces of gold.
