Yep 18" round mono. Recently gave it a run on my test patch and it works great.

Phase Tech is the Minelab X-Terra 6" 18.75 kHz - $95 a replacement for the original round coil of the xterra? or is it the gold seeking version?

The standard X-Terra coil is a 9" concentric.

This one is the 6" solid double d.

Hi Nenad,

Digging up an old post but I see on your website the 11" commander is still for sale.

I have looked on the Minelab website but can't see the answer - are the Commanders flat wound or bundle wound?

If bundle wound I am assuming they may give up some sensitivity to the Nugget Finders/Detechs but may be a little more stable/easier to run?

Just beginning this journey into the world of P.I. and the ridiculous number of coil choices :argh:

Hi mate,

Yes still have an 11 commander available.

All mono coils prior to NF Evolution, Coiltek Elite and Detech Ultra/Ultimate were bundle wound, (to the best of my knowledge).

The Commanders are definitely bundle wound, and yes you are right, they do run quieter in hot ground compared to the flat wound coils.
Worth having at least one traditional wound coil in the kit for saturated ground, heavy red clays, and ironstone hell type areas
