Hi everyone. My names Harry and I'm in year 8. me and my dad are thinking of heading up Coffs harbour way next school holidays as I have taken a liking to gold prospecting. I was wondering if anyone could point us in the right directions for small nuggets/medium sized flakes. Have heard that Tallawudjah creek area is good but I'm not sure. Also we have been down to Drake along the rocky river a few times have found some ok gold along the dug up deposits along the river, poverty point seems to have a lot of mines in the area, some still operating. If anyone has been up that way let me know if the road was open and if the gold was worth it. Thanks heaps!
