I would like to get some like minded people together to have a "Classic Detector" day in Adelaide.
We would only be able to use an early detectors to find some pre salted targets on a beach or in a park,
the kids could have their own section for finds and as parents or adults we could all bring something small
as a prize to put into the 'pool' for the kids.
Adults could be satisfied with getting the 'old tools' out, supervising and teaching the kids and having a
social drink and BBQ with some conversation.
Maybe a show and tell about their equipment and how they use it.
After we could get out the good gear and find the rest of the lost targets if any are left by the kids.
Not meant to form a club or a regular thing, just a small social day out, with anyone welcome.
