Going through some old photos on the phone and came across this .....

Just a reminder to be careful, get enough scrapes and scratches digging into narrow holes without having to contend with this as well.
Good pair of gloves are a must, just in case.

And watch for falling branches, I had one land a few meters away from me, now I'm paranoid and always look what's above me.
 
Its annoying that human pigs would leave glass bottles in the wilderness. Im sick of walking in beautiful bushland only to see discarded bottles and cans all over the place. No respect for our land. We should know better.
 
Not only glass.. I have found rusty old nails/shoe tacks. Still sharp enough to puncture skin. Wear gloves when crevicing.. also protect you from scorpions,centipedes and spiders lurking in the gravel wash.. I know this from experience.. got stung by a scorpion and it felt like my hand was on fire...
