Cairns Panning

Hello all,
New to this researched my ass off about
My local are and decided Id give it a crack.
Started off just wanting to prove to myself
That there is gold in the local creeks and have done that. I guess this is where the hunger starts. When Im walking the local
Creeks I see other people digs and tell tale
Marks of fresh prospecting in random creeks or maybe pig or scrub turkey scratchings. All I find is flour gold like a tiny spec or two from a 1kg sample I bring
Home. All I really want to know is anyone getting bigger than fly crap in the cairns creeks within a 20 min drive of town. I dont want to know where just looking for a bit more motivation as Im sick of panning for two hours for a tiny spec and the black sand.

Hi Fitz,

Get 10 posts up and then you will have access to the members only section. The Cairns members normally get together once every couple of months at the Red Beret Hotel and will normally let everyone know when in the Member Meet Ups section.

Top bunch of blokes and should be able to help you out.
