Here are the results of my 2 detects this month. Same location but a bit of difference in the results.
The first detect saw me get 10 buttons and a crappy Chinese coin. The second detect saw me find 15 buttons, but 2 were ornamental including one gilt, most of a jaw's harp, a snake buckle (small - might be for a young person), another Chinese coin but in better nick, an 1844 3d, and an 1826 penny and 1826 half penny. Both the 1826 coins were in good condition.
The only other notable aspect is that the first trip saw me find 3 buttons in 1 hole and I got 5 buttons in the one hole on the second trip.
Ground is getting harder to dig but where we are it is not doing any real harm. Property workers came to say g'day again as they often do to see how we are going. They laughed at the hardness of the ground.
The site is worth another visit even though we've been in the general area multiple times.
