Does anyone know a source of cheap/free 20L white buckets, bunnings want 20 dollars for a piece of plastic

I don't know what Bunnings you shop at but when I want a white bucket, I don't pay $20.
BTW, why white when black will do the same job for a lot less $$.

Job sites buddy... They're free but you usually gotta wash/clean what was in them. If you don't want to do that then you usually have to cough up the coin to buy a new one... Don't think I've ever brought a bucket in my life and never had a problem

most bakerys have 15 ltr plastic buckets with lids as well...much easyer to carry than 20 ltr and your sieves still fit in the top :) ...

Depending on where you are I have hundreds of green 20l buckets that are twice as thick as most white ones .. very sturdy ..but if your not local fuel will be more than 20 obviously .. also try your local baker they use heaps of them and generally happy to give away or trade a few for a 6 pack

Hay Worrier,
I got mine free (about 20 with lids) on Gumtree from a local yogurt producer.
I have heard that McDonalds have them if you can coax them out of the manager.

The Black Bunnings ones are usually $6 each when they turn up. Sometimes hard to find and some stores don't have them!
