Broach with gems?

Any ideas on this? Found it deep on a beach at colmslie. Gems held in with claws. Some missing is it worth cleaning to see more? The jewellery is the size of a thumb.

Still say salt and vinegar solution for sand encrustation,..copper doesn't like it, so be quick if it is copper and as soon as the sand starts to come away just gently(very) rub it while it's under the solution and the sand should come off,..rinse and wash with liquid handwash(not soap) to stop the reaction.then post new photo

Got a bit of a goldie look about it CHH,..may be rather surprising to see the results.

Just cheapie then CHH no tears now(just hunt up another, they been there a while when they look like that).
