Brass Button - J BRUNT

Hi all. One of the buttons I found at Ballarat is cleaned somewhat now and some letters are legible. J BRUNT at to top. Some of the bottom letters seems to be H followed by either a B or an E, then RO
So either HBRO or HERO
The button has some decorative features just inside where it curves down towards the 4 holes. I think it is pressed not moulded and the impressions are also visible on the back.
I am trying to reveal more but don't want to damage it so it is a slow process.

Nice old button aggro, question is, did it come undone, or, was there a scuffle, the answer to that could reveal nothing more, or, a trail of far flung items as scuffle progressed and eyes blackened (maybe). ( the hopeful there of course is, coins).
