back from another few hours swingin . they are getting very hard to find in this spot already . i get a very strong feeling that this place has been done a few times before probably years ago when detectors were maybe not quite as good as now because i am only finding small coins mainly threepences and very few of the larger coins , i think i have only found 2 x pennies 1 florin 1 or 2 halfpennies and 1 shilling but probably 20 or 25 of the smaller silvers .
anyway today i got 1 sixpence and 3 threepence for my efforts plus sundries plus some exercise and fresh air and maybe a few more ticks ( got 3 last time ).

1/2 an hour in warm soapy water now they look nice . but hold the phone have a look at the close up of the 1924 no not an over date this time is that a few die cracks or if not what is it from the emu's head and a couple fainter ones down lower.

Got some neat silvers there Texta, could be right about others being there in the past - cherry picking all the easy gear. Nice of them to leave mainly silvers, usually it's the other way around. :Y:
