Hey Guys,

Got my Xterra 705 (gold pack) this week and being new to detecting I thought I'd get started in the yard and one of the local parks. So far it's been a big learning curve but I am just starting to understand my detector. I've found 2 sterling silver spoons and a few coins in the yard along with alot of trash and also found a few coins at the local park. No coins have any age to them as yet but now I'm getting to learn this I'm guessing that it will all come with time. This hobby already has me hooked and I can't wait to get back out and do some more swinging.

Well done drew and I'm sure the treasure chest will start to fill quite rapidly. It's a numbers game and the pre decimals will show themselves soon enough. Best of luck and hope to see some pics of the finds.
