At last a creek with colour

After 6 hours of swinging with nothing but trash to show for it I panned a small creek right next to the road on the way home.
Pulled out a few colours with every sample.
I was running out of light but rest assured I will return with some sort of extraction method and a full day on the detector upstream.

Might finally be a place to run the highbanker!

Actually I was thinking it would be good to cool down after sweating my a$$ off all day in the humidity up here but the water was hotter than the air temp.
As you say the gold certainly perked me up. I would have stayed if the sun wasnt diving for the horizon.
