as of today i am a swinger ,

Picked up my first detector this morning rushed through the days jobs and done my first hour and a half of swinging
firstly I will say its a great game I didn't get gold but enjoyed myself 100%.

Silly farmers with their silly fences :/ ohh farmers pmsl

this one had the brain ticking 8) thought maybe weld or rust chunk but was dreaming gold

washed it and not magnetic , so rubbed a file on it and bright silver in colour and fairly soft , still unsure what it is yet maybe solder ?

And finally one magnetic rock with some pebbles and flakes in it and also some little crystals in it , being magnetic should I assume it doesn't contain gold and its the iron content signaling the detector ?

I think I will be screwing a neodiddledumb magnet to my pick that should speed up finding the fence wire .
