Anywhere to prospect or pan about 2 hrs from Dromana Victoria

Hi all it’s been a long time , but I am wondering if there is anywhere to prospect or pan about 2 hrs from Dromana as available time is tight thanks all

Not legally unless you can get permission from the property owners. Gold was mined from high-level gravels on the back of Red Hill, in the big creek southeast of Red Hill, Tubba Rubba Ck, Bulldog Ck, Mosquito Creek etc. Sapphires present in most localities also, as on the beach (now banned I think).

Make friends with some relevant farmers.

try around Tubbarubba, Olddigger, do a bit of research on the area, you should have a bit of luck there, mate
