Anyone done any poking around Edwards Reef - Victoria

I was up that way a few weeks ago and some interesting areas. A few mines, and Edwards reef (next to Mt Useful and up the road from store point) was once a bustling little community. was an interesting drive and a break from reccying into some of the deeper valleys.

I didn't have the 2300 with me, but wondered if others had given the area a look over.

Used to spend a bit of time up around store point camping, hunting. Unfortunately didn't have the bug back then though. Would be interesting to find out if anyone has done any searching out that way.

Yeah its a beautiful area. I get up that way every chance I can get for a wander around. The flies this year are beyond annoying though. last year I never noticed them, but they are at the 'i'm going to go insane' level this year.

Try a fly net sniffy just don't forget you're wearing it when you go to eat your lunch >

wouldnt be bad to find some relics along with some gold up there. Would you be interested in arranging a day to go check it out.. I also run a sdc.
