Anyone doing underwater detecting

Is anyone out there doing some water detecting or a bit of beach detecting.

I wanted to see if anyone has modified their Excal2 with Grey Ghost headphones by some here in Australia. I'm not much of a handy man when it come to these things so it would be cool if someone knew someone etc. It would also be great to get pinpoint switch.

If you know anyone or have any ideas let me know.

There was this thread on kimbucktwo regarding those mods, OBN on Treasurenet does the mods in the US. I gather most people don't want to mess too much with their excalibur, for the sake of not compromising its waterproofing, plus other warranty related concerns.

To be honest I think when your underwater the stock headphones will do the job. I can't imagine having a huge sound quality difference by adding the grey ghosts. Those who mod there excal with those hunt shallow water and on the shore. One thing I can say is the stock headphones crank pretty high an that's all you really need when your under the water. Unless your scuba diving your head will be above the water.

I would also keep in mind so as you mod it it voids the warranty
