Any Prospector in Gladstone???

Hello all,

I am new in Gold detecting and just moved to Gladstone from sunny Mt Isa.
I need some advice where to go around Gladstone for detecting. Also I'd like to join anyone prospecting to start with if you don't mind.
Please let me know if you interested, I really keen to go out to spend my weekend since I am new in town and alone. Basically I am bored shitless got nothing to do on the weekend

Hey Fixzit, yeah wish we were closer just made contact with another member up Gympie way, when we get organized, we're going to meet up, I have only just got back into prospecting after 20 yrs, other things were happening in my life, but have got the fever again, and slowly get some gear together, some pans, a nice little pick, made myself a great hand sucker, they don't like the word, "Dredge", so I'll stick to crevice sucker, and yeah a nice little shovel from Masters for only $6 couldn't believe it. Never know maybe one day we could all meet up at Gympie and make a weekend of it, see what happens aye.
