Another Geelong-ite looking for colleagues

Hi - I live in Lara, close to Geelong.VIC and have just joined. I have been "fossicking" a few times in the Maryborough/Daylesford area, including a day out with a detector hired from Minelab. I've found a few small fragments but have now recently retired and am hoping to spend more time looking for my fortune! I would be interested to contact fellow members in the Geelong area with a view to going "hunting" together/small groups. At present I do not have a detector.
I'm not sure whether the Geelong Prospecting Club is still active or not - the website appears to be closed.
