Another couple of newbies

Hi Everyone
Found this site while trawling the internet for information.
My partner and myself have so far been bitten by the gemstone bug.
Grace is a geologist so I guess that's got to come in handy.
We are mid 20's from Canberra, both love the outdoors and don't mind getting our hands dirty.
I went to detect a den here in Canberra and got everything needed to hopefully find some sapphires and gold.
A quick but huge thanks to Darren for his awesome service there too.

We spent the morning sieving through a bag of sapphire wash and ended up with 19 small match head sized bits
