Another Adelaide detectorist!

Hi folks, I really like this forum, lots of good unbiased information and helpful members from what I have seen. I used to own an XT17000 in my 20's, sold it due to working away, and now in my 40's the detecting bug has returned to take me over!(I'm also on kimbucktwo)

I bought a Tesoro Vaquero with a NEL Sharpshooter for myself, and the missus has a Minelab X-Terra 305 with the 18.75kHz eliptical coil for the beach and parks. I also purchased another xt17000 with a Coiltek 6" Goldseeker coil, and have an old Whites Goldmaster 2 on its way from the US.

I also don't mind the old panning, gem/mineral collecting, and general poke about old mining areas looking at the workings and the interesting historical aspects of mining. (Been in mineral exploration for 21 odd years).

Hopefully I can get to know a few of the local members, and maybe catch up in the local goldfields, parks, beaches etc.

Thanks guys, I really like the Vaquero, it's a no nonsense, light, deep hitting machine without all the bells and whistles. Actually much prefer it over the 305, too tekky for my liking.
