Alluvial Mining operation

I had a Alluvial mining operation in Vic in 1991. The 205 Ha lease was in my name and my wife's and worked as a JV with a company. It was short lived due to the incompetence of out JV partners but still produced over 1300oz of gold in 6 months/
Here is a picture of the bulk sampling phase of the operation which was on 4x 100m costeans across the lead.

I agree.I know that their are hundreds of ounces in the tailings and thousands of ounces remaining in the area(private land)

A lot of then are now under pasture or vineyards and their is a new landowner. Some are being used by the local shire for road making gravels. No doubt their are some golden roads in the shire!
