Hi all. Great site. So much helpful stuff.
Ive finally saved and bought my detector. Looking at going out this Sunday for a 1st day swing. So excited. What would be a good direction to try within 2 hours? From what I been reading, Tuena , Mogo, but Im
Not sure if these are for panning mainly? Even if I found one $10 nigh I would be over the moon! Using sdc2300.thanks in advance for any help.

Off With a good start mate! The SDC has a great advantage that you are not restricted to reef gold nuggets.
they will find alluvial pickers aswell. So ancient river bed diggings are on your possible target list as well.

Thanks for the minview tip. I didnt know about that. Been looking at other maps though. Its a great help. And yes I thought if Im going to spend time walking around I want to have a half decent machine so saved for a while. Now time to sloowwwllyyy repay it back with little nugs
