Hey Guys,

Im new to the forum and was wondering if anyone in S.A fancies buddying up for a hunt now and again??

Im looking to upgrade to a Garrett ATX if anyone is selling one?? Been trying the old jupiter creek gold fields around echunga way but no joy, wouldn't mind going further out tho.

Keen to share my interest and kick around some topics on here with some like minded people. Until then i'll keep an eye out for lasseters reef ;-)

Marshyboy, there are a few hunters in the Adelaide area on this Forum,... so keep an ear out or an eye open and I'm sure someone will help look after you a bit. Have you been detecting long, and what sort of machine are you swinging ? Don't forget to look up the locals and follow their posts with heightened enthusiasm,... maybe they will introduce themselves soon.

Hey Man,

well i rushed in and bought a eureka gold about 9 months ago, its a good bit of kit for a beginner but it just feels a bit delicate, i like my gear to be robust, tools, camping gear, everything really.
plus i haven't had any good juicy finds yet but I'm not out there religiously altho id love to be. i have the garrett pro pointer too which is great! Cheers for the advise mate, will defo look out for them.

What about yourself?? had any good finds lately?? where you hunting??
