I finally got around to photographing my fluorescent mineral samples with the help of two torch bearers. I got these packs from Treasure Enterprises before they closed down.
The names of the samples are shown too.
The torches were UVC 265nm Convoy C8 from Aliexpress.
Some didn't show up as anything exciting but needing a different light source.
I'm holding a little nugget in my fingers too. There are little bits of blue/purple showing, mainly in dots in the pic but also the edges seem to light up more when I'm looking at it live. Not a good way to do night detecting.
I'll dig out my other rocks and stones etc to see what else lights up.
ps - I shone the torch on the back of my hand. I look like a 120 yo lol.
