Well as the title says i scored a couple bits this morn, only 1.23 grams between the 2 so nothing to get excited about.

First one i got was about 2 meters from where i picked one up a couple of weeks ago, which surprised me as i definately swung my coil over this spot that day, and it was only a few inches deep. I guess thats why it pays to hit a spot multiple times with different coils and settings. The second one i got by chaining in and around some old detector holes, it was only about an inch deep, the holes around it were quite large and deep so i guess they were using a big coil on the day and thats how they missed this one. Scored them both my 8x6 sadie. :)

The 8x6 is a real killer for me on my trips to that area....can't beat it in the creeks. Great little nugs there Chad, and hope your patch remains consistent. Look forward to some more pics of that upper WA gold and can't wait to get back over there myself in May.....Good luck,

Cheers Wal.

Thanks Wal,

Yeah the 8x6 seems the goods, ive actually had it for a while now and tryed running it on my GP extreme a few times but it was just too sensitive and way too noisy for the ground up here, what a difference it has made hanging it off the bottom of a 5000. Ill try and keep the pics coming through for ya. Yeah i cant wait for may aswell, way too hot to be overnight camping up here before then, its funny how usually some time in April its like a switch is flicked and all of a sudden the humidity drops, the nights cool down - absolutely beautiful. I reckon May through to about October we have the best weather in Aus, no doubt about it- Its just those other 6 months of the year you got to put up with if you live up here :)
